UAV Operator

Overview

UAV Operator — A soldier who works with unmanned aerial vehicles and provides the unit with airborne information. The position combines work with modern technologies, analytical thinking and team interaction.

Attentiveness, accuracy, good concentration and readiness to quickly master new technologies are required from the operator.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of UAVs and equipment for the performance of assigned tasks. Control of unmanned aerial vehicles in accordance with the received tasks. Conducting aerial surveillance. Receiving, analyzing and transmitting information to the command. Monitoring the technical condition of UAVS, batteries and other equipment. Troubleshooting and liaising with technicians to troubleshoot. Maintaining the necessary documentation and accounting of equipment. Compliance with established safety procedures. Interaction with other servicemen of the unit during the performance of tasks. Continuous improvement of skills in working with UAVs and modern systems.

Requirements:

• Age from 18 years. Motivation to perform military service. Discipline and responsibility. Attention and good concentration. Ability to learn quickly and work with modern technologies. Confident use of a computer and digital devices. Ability to work in a team. Stress tolerance and emotional balance. Physical fitness: Driving experience will be an advantage. Technical education or experience with electronics, hardware, or software will be an advantage. Military service experience will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
