Artillery Reconnaissance Battalion Specialist (BAR)

Overview

Artillery reconnaissance battalion (BAR) specialist — a serviceman who participates in the collection, processing and transmission of intelligence information necessary for the effective performance of tasks by artillery units.

The position requires attentiveness, analytical thinking, good concentration and the ability to work with technical intelligence tools. An important role is played by the accuracy of the information received and transmitted, as well as coordinated interaction with other servicemen of the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the tasks of artillery reconnaissance. Collection and initial processing of information about the situation. Work with technical means of surveillance and reconnaissance in accordance with the specialization. Recording and systematization of the information received. Transfer of relevant information to the relevant officials of the unit. Interaction with personnel of artillery and reconnaissance units. Maintaining reconnaissance equipment and facilities in good condition. Maintaining the necessary documentation and accounting for the information received. Compliance with established procedures, security measures and requirements for working with information. Continuous improvement of intelligence and surveillance skills.

Requirements:

• Age from 18 years. Discipline, responsibility and attentiveness. Motivation to perform military service. Analytical and spatial thinking is developed. High concentration of attention and ability to work with a large amount of information. Ability to quickly analyze the data obtained and act in accordance with established procedures. Confident use of a computer and digital devices. Readiness to work with technical means of reconnaissance. Ability to work in a team and clearly interact with other military personnel. Stress resistance and willingness to work under increased load. Experience in reconnaissance, topography, artillery, working with UAVs or technical means of observation will be an advantage. Willingness to undergo the necessary military and specialized training.

Conditions:

• Contract service as part of the 3rd separate heavy mechanized brigade. Cash security from UAH 30,000 Stable monetary security and additional payments provided for by law.
