Overview

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operator — a serviceman who manages unmanned aerial systems, ensures their preparation for operation and performs the assigned tasks using modern technologies.

This position combines technical knowledge, analytical thinking, attentiveness and the ability to make decisions quickly. The UA operator plays an important role in providing the unit with information, situational awareness, and performing brigade tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of unmanned aerial vehicles for tasks. Manage UAVs in accordance with assigned tasks and established procedures. Conducting aerial surveillance and information gathering. Control of the technical condition of unmanned systems, equipment and controls. Carrying out pre-flight and post-flight inspection of equipment. Troubleshooting and liaising with technicians to troubleshoot. Maintaining the necessary documentation and reporting. Compliance with operating rules, flight safety and masking requirements. Interaction with other servicemen of the unit during the performance of tasks.

Requirements:

• Age from 18 years. Discipline, responsibility and attentiveness. Motivation to perform military service. Willingness to work in a team and perform tasks. Confident use of a computer and modern digital technologies. A basic understanding of how drones work will be an advantage. Ability to quickly learn new information and master technical equipment. Developed spatial thinking, concentration and stress resistance. Driving experience will be an advantage, but is not mandatory. Willingness to learn and develop professionally
