Overview

The 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade is part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit began its combat path as the territorial defense brigade of Volyn region. The brigade was formed predominantly of volunteers and has been battle-hardened in the hottest sectors of the front.

Responsibilities:

• referring service members for consultations and treatment at specialized medical facilities
• identifying sick personnel in units
• providing medical care to service members
• preparing the wounded for further evacuation
• providing aid for emergency conditions
• providing first aid to sick and wounded service members
• outpatient care for battalion personnel
• prescribing outpatient treatment
• responding to urgent medical cases and organizing assistance in emergency situations
• referring and transporting to the hospital patients requiring hospital examination and treatment, arranging consultations with specialists at medical and preventive care facilities

Requirements:

• higher medical education
• military service experience will be an advantage
• a state of health that allows performing tasks in the active combat zone
• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• readiness to carry out assigned tasks
• proficiency in methods of providing emergency medical care and stabilizing a patient's condition
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• at least 3 years of experience in one's field
• no active criminal proceedings or criminal record
• ability to work in extreme conditions and stressful situations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• service in the combat zone

• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service

• mandatory completion of basic combined-arms training before starting to perform official duties (30-40 days)
