Medical Officer

Overview

Medical Service Officer — a military medical specialist who organizes and coordinates the medical support of the unit. The position combines medical competence, managerial skills and responsibility for the proper organization of medical care for servicemen.

The specialist plans the work of the medical service, coordinates personnel, monitors the readiness of medical supplies and ensures interaction with other units. Professionalism, consistency and the ability to act reasonably in difficult situations are important here.

Responsibilities:

• Organization and coordination of the unit's medical service. Planning of measures for medical support of personnel. Monitoring the readiness of medical personnel, equipment and stocks of medical supplies. Organization of timely provision of medical care to servicemen. Interaction with medical units and medical institutions. Control of compliance with the requirements for sanitary and hygienic and medical support. Maintaining the necessary medical and service documentation. Analysis of the medical situation and preparation of relevant reports and proposals to the command. Organization of medical training of personnel within the competence. Control of proper storage and accounting of medical property.

Requirements:

• Availability of officer's military rank. Higher medical education in the relevant field. Experience in the field of medicine and/or military service will be an advantage. Knowledge of the principles of organization of medical support of military units. High level of responsibility and organization. Ability to make informed decisions under conditions of increased load. Skills in managing personnel and coordinating the work of the medical service. Confident use of the PC and maintenance of official documentation. Willingness to perform military service under the contract.

Conditions:

• Cash support from UAH 30,000 in accordance with the position, military rank, length of service and conditions of performance of tasks.
