Staff Officer

Overview

Staff officer — a specialist who ensures the planning, coordination and organization of the work of the unit. This is a position for an officer who is able to work with a large amount of information, quickly assess the situation and make informed decisions.

Staff work requires systematic thinking, discipline and a high level of responsibility. The coherence of the unit's work depends on the quality of the prepared decisions, documents and coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the planning and organization of the unit. Collection, systematization and analysis of information for the preparation of management decisions. Preparation of official documents, reports, calculations and information and analytical materials. Coordination of interaction between structural units. Control over the implementation of certain tasks and assignments. Maintaining established service documentation. Participation in the planning of combat and special training activities. Preparation of reports for the command and timely communication of the necessary information to the responsible persons. Compliance with the requirements for working with proprietary information.

Requirements:

• Availability of officer's military rank. Higher education. Preferred experience in military service in officer positions. Experience in combat will be an advantage. Analytical and systemic thinking is developed. Confident use of PCs and office applications. Literacy, attention to detail and ability to work with documentation. High level of organization and responsibility. Ability to work in conditions of limited time and increased load. Willingness to perform military service under the contract.

Conditions:

• Cash support from UAH 30,000 in accordance with the position held, military rank, length of service and conditions of performance of tasks. Performance of contract military service as part of the 4th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade. Work in a structure where planning, coordination and accuracy of decisions are of direct importance for the effectiveness of the unit. Ability to implement managerial, analytical and organizational competencies. Professional improvement and improvement of the level of military training.
