Paramedic

Overview

A paramedic is a serviceman of the medical service who ensures the provision of prehospital and medical care to personnel, monitors the condition of servicemen and participates in the organization of medical support of the unit.
This is a position for a medical professional who is ready to apply their knowledge and skills in an environment of increased responsibility, make decisions quickly and work in a team.

Responsibilities:

• надання першої та невідкладної медичної допомоги військовослужбовцям;
• оцінка стану постраждалого та визначення необхідного обсягу допомоги;
• проведення первинного огляду та контроль стану пацієнтів;
• виконання медичних процедур відповідно до кваліфікації та протоколів;
• підготовка постраждалих до евакуації та супровід під час транспортування за необхідності;
• ведення медичної документації;
• контроль наявності та справності медичного обладнання, препаратів і засобів першої допомоги;
• участь у заходах із профілактики захворювань та підтримання здоров’я особового складу;
• взаємодія з медичним персоналом та іншими підрозділами;
• виконання завдань відповідно до посадових обов’язків і потреб підрозділу.

Requirements:

• medical education in the relevant field;
• availability of an appropriate qualification of a paramedic;
• knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and emergency care will be an advantage;
• confident practical skills in providing medical care;
• responsibility, attentiveness and emotional stability;
• ability to make decisions quickly in critical situations;
• good physical shape;
• willingness to work in a team;
• fitness for military service;
• willingness to perform military service under the contract.
