UAV Mechanic

Overview

The 4th Assault Battalion of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade began forming in the spring of 2023. It then went for combat training in Poland, where it gained the necessary knowledge and combat skills. After completing training, the unit arrived in the combat mission area, where it immediately began its difficult combat path to Victory. The fighters of the 4th Assault Battalion have successfully carried out extremely difficult combat missions thanks to the clear and sound orders of experienced commanders who gained extensive combat experience back in the Anti-Terrorist Operation as part of the legendary "Aidar" battalion. The unit's command values the life of every soldier, which is why it carefully plans operations, provides reliable equipment, and supports the morale of its personnel.

Responsibilities:

• repair and maintenance of UAVs
• monitoring the technical condition of devices and their readiness to carry out missions
• installing and testing new components and equipment
• using technical equipment for diagnosing, detecting, and eliminating faults in UAV systems
• performing maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in UAV systems

Requirements:

• experience maintaining and repairing electronics
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• self-discipline, willingness to learn and improve
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• service in the active combat zone
• social guarantees
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
