Scout-Rangefinder Operator

Overview

A rangefinder is a specialist who determines the exact coordinates and parameters of targets, providing the artillery unit with the necessary data to perform tasks. Position for attentive, accurate and technically competent people who know how to work with devices and quickly analyze information

Responsibilities:

• conducting reconnaissance and surveillance;
• determination of coordinates and range to targets;
• work with rangefinding and observation devices;
• collection, verification and transmission of intelligence information;
• maintaining the necessary records and documentation;
• interaction with artillery crew and other unit specialists;
• control of the accuracy of the data obtained;
• compliance with masking and safety rules;
• maintaining the equipment in good condition;
• carrying out tasks in accordance with the instructions of the command.

Requirements:

• attentiveness and good concentration;
• developed spatial thinking;
• ability to quickly analyze and transmit information;
• confident use of technical means;
• responsibility, discipline and stress resistance;
• ability to work in a team;
• willingness to learn and master specialized equipment.
• Experience in reconnaissance or working with long-range instruments will be an advantage, but is not mandatory — the necessary skills can be obtained during training.

Conditions:

• cash support from UAH 30,000 to 125,000, depending on the tasks assigned and the place of service;
• the possibility of service for civilian candidates and military personnel;
