Grenadier (Contract 18-24)
Overview
The 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade is a motorized infantry brigade within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the Donetsk region. The brigade was formed in early 2015 following the start of russian aggression in 2014. In 2022, the unit took part in the battles for Mariupol, Volnovakha, Pisky, Vuhledar, Huliaipole, and Bakhmut.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- working with grenade launchers of various types
- Laying weapons, adjusting fire
- Surveillance, fire support, assisting other units
- Maintaining combat readiness of assigned defense lines
- keeping weapons, equipment, and ammunition combat-ready
- participating in training and preparation for combat operations
Requirements:
- age 18 to 24
- readiness to perform tasks in the zone of active combat operations
- endurance, stress resistance
- good physical shape
- combat experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- contract service for a term of 1 year
- monetary allowance of 1,000,000 hryvnias per year under the "Contract 18-24" program (200,000 hryvnias immediately upon signing the contract and 800,000 hryvnias paid in two installments over the contract term) + up to an additional 120,000 hryvnias per month + bonuses for combat tasks
- priority processing through the Military Medical Commission
- completion of enhanced training (basic combined-arms training, specialized training, an adaptation course at the military unit, etc.) of up to three months in the event of assignment to a position in a new specialty and/or the unit's rearmament with new weapons and military equipment
- housing compensation during service
