Radio Operator

Overview

The 7th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion is a combat unit within the Armed Forces of Ukraine that specializes in conducting reconnaissance, obtaining critically important information about the enemy, and providing units with accurate intelligence data.
The 7th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion is a unit for motivated, physically resilient, and responsible service members who are ready to carry out difficult tasks for the sake of Ukraine's security and future.
We invite motivated men and women to serve under contract/mobilization in the position of radio-telephone operator.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring reliable radio communication on the battlefield
• Configuring and maintaining radio stations and other communications equipment
• Receiving and processing information coming from other units
• monitoring radio frequencies and working with radiograms
• Maintaining radio communications in difficult weather and combat conditions

Requirements:

• strict compliance with military discipline and the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
• high responsibility and motivation
• age 18 to 50
• confident-user-level PC skills, knowledge of office programs (Word, Excel)
• experience working with radio equipment or relevant training will be an advantage
• knowledge of radio communication principles will be an advantage
• ability to quickly react to changes in the situation and relay accurate information
• maintaining confidentiality
• no alcohol, drug, or gambling dependency
• no medical contraindications
• readiness to learn, develop, and work in a team

Conditions:

• contract service or mobilization for the duration of martial law
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• full provision of uniform, personal protective equipment, and meals
• additional payments for combat task performance
• a full training cycle: basic combined-arms training, specialized training, and an adaptation course at the military unit
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment
• full medical care
