Overview
The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky was formed during the war to defend the Ukrainian people. The unit's combat path has included the defense of towns and villages in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and from February 24, 2022, the "Vyhovsky men" crushed the aggressor on the approaches from Chernihiv to Bobrovytsia, and later in the Bakhmut sector, in the Chernihiv region, and in the area of Kupiansk and Lyman. Since September 2023, the brigade has been conducting combat operations in the Donetsk region. The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade continues the glorious traditions of Hetman Vyhovsky, who crushed the Muscovites back in the 17th century near Konotop, because it believes that defending our beloved Ukraine and its people is the duty of every conscious citizen. Everyone is capable of making a significant contribution to the defense of the state and capable of great feats.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- checking the condition of weapons, sighting devices, and loading and aiming mechanisms
- delivering accurate fire and destroying detected targets on the tank commander's order or independently
- performing other tasks related to tank operation
- continuous maintenance of weapons, sighting and observation devices ready for combat use
Requirements:
- age from 18
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- a high level of motivation and stress resistance
- ability to quickly make decisions in stressful situations
- secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- annual monetary wellness assistance
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
- monetary assistance for signing the first contract
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
