Platoon Combat Medic
Overview
The 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade is a motorized infantry brigade within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the Donetsk region. The brigade was formed in early 2015 following the start of russian aggression in 2014. In 2022, the unit took part in the battles for Mariupol, Volnovakha, Pisky, Vuhledar, Huliaipole, and Bakhmut.
Responsibilities:
- providing first aid for wounds and injuries in combat conditions
- monitoring the availability of medical equipment and stocking first aid kits
- ensuring the prevention and treatment of illness among servicemen
- ensuring the prevention and treatment of illness among servicemen
- conducting medical monitoring and documenting data
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit, including in the combat zone
Requirements:
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- age from 18
- completion of combat medic training courses or other medical courses
- knowledge of standards and procedures for providing first aid
- ability to work in conditions of military hostilities and during stressful situations
- attention to detail and ability to make quick and correct decisions
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- basic and specialized training as needed
- monetary allowance: base rate of 21,000 + additional payments of up to 100,000 hryvnias for performing tasks in the combat zone, depending on the duration and area of task performance
- full provision of protective equipment and military gear
- the opportunity to obtain Combat Veteran status
