Overview

The 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade is a motorized infantry brigade within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the Donetsk region. The brigade was formed in early 2015 following the start of russian aggression in 2014. In 2022, the unit took part in the battles for Mariupol, Volnovakha, Pisky, Vuhledar, Huliaipole, and Bakhmut.

Responsibilities:

• preparing for cargo movement and performing related work
• participating in loading and unloading operations on vehicles, military platforms, and other lifting equipment
• complying with cargo handling, placement, and transportation rules while working
• ensuring the safe loading and securing of cargo
• maintaining and repairing rigging equipment
• compliance with occupational safety requirements and internal regulations

Requirements:

• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• physical endurance and ability to perform demanding physical work
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• readiness to learn and improve military skills
• responsibility and attentiveness to detail during work
• desire to work for the benefit of Ukraine and defend one's country
• military service experience will be an advantage
• an enlisted (private) position

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• proper medical care
• social guarantees and compensation in accordance with current legislation
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• legal support and psychological guidance
