EW Operator
Overview
The 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade is a motorized infantry brigade within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the Donetsk region. The brigade was formed in early 2015 following the start of russian aggression in 2014. In 2022, the unit took part in the battles for Mariupol, Volnovakha, Pisky, Vuhledar, Huliaipole, and Bakhmut.
Responsibilities:
- analyzing the radio frequency spectrum to detect potentially dangerous signals and determine their characteristics
- maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of EW equipment
- maintaining communication and reporting
- continuous training and self-training
- continuous training and self-training
- carrying out the commander's tasks
Requirements:
- skills in using a PC and communication equipment
- skills in using a PC and communication equipment
- understanding of the basic principles of EW systems will be an advantage
- understanding of radio communications theory and the principles of radio wave propagation will be an advantage
- high level of responsibility
- military service experience will be an advantage
- physical fitness and psychological resilience
- strong motivation and drive to succeed in accomplishing assigned tasks
- ability to navigate terrain, including with a compass and map
- ability to work in a team
- no criminal record, alcohol or drug dependency
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- service in the active combat zone
- provision of normal conditions for performing service
- training before taking up the position and, if necessary, specialized training
- monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- a full package of social protection for the serviceman
