Overview

The 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade (formerly the 5th Separate Tank Brigade) is stationed in the Lviv region and is part of the "Zahid" ("West") Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade took part in fighting in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions and is currently carrying out missions in the Pokrovsk sector.

Responsibilities:

• working with the families of the fallen, missing, and captured servicemen
• processing appeals, statements, and complaints from service members and their families, other citizens, and public organizations
• knowledge of and compliance with legislation on social protection and service terms, algorithms for acquiring statuses, and mechanisms for obtaining benefits, guarantees, and compensation
• collecting, systematizing, and continuously updating contact information on institutions, agencies, and structural units of local government and local self-government bodies that provide social services
• assisting servicemen in preparing the documents needed to obtain certificates confirming the status on which corresponding benefits and compensations are granted

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the combat zone
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• sociability, readiness to constantly learn and develop
• ability to work with documents, a computer, and software
• a high level of motivation and stress resistance
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen from other military units
• gear and equipment provision, including personal protective equipment, accommodation, meals, and medical care for the duration of military service
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• monetary allowance from 20,130 hryvnias and a bonus from 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias depending on the place and duration of assigned task performance
