Civil-Military Cooperation Department Officer
Overview
The 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade (formerly the 5th Separate Tank Brigade) is stationed in the Lviv region and is part of the "Zahid" ("West") Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade took part in fighting in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions and is currently carrying out missions in the Pokrovsk sector.
Responsibilities:
- escorting wounded servicemen, maintaining communication with their family members
- escorting family members of the fallen (deceased) or those missing under special circumstances, and captured servicemen, helping them exercise their rightful benefits and guarantees
- participating in conducting recovery, adaptation, and support measures for individuals confirmed to have been deprived of personal liberty
- visiting wounded servicemen and the families of the fallen, missing, and captured servicemen
- assisting servicemen in preparing the documents needed to obtain certificates confirming the status on which corresponding benefits and compensations are granted
- ensuring communication between support services and government and local self-government bodies for the purpose of providing social support to servicemen and their families
- processing appeals, statements, and complaints from service members and their families, other citizens, and public organizations
Requirements:
- officer's rank
- legal education preferred
- ability to work with documents and skills in drafting legal documents
- leadership qualities, communication skills, organizational skills
- empathy, diplomacy
- analytical skills
- ability to work in a team
Conditions:
- contract service or mobilization until the end of martial law
- monetary allowance from 25,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- basic and specialized training as needed
