UAV Master Technician (Contract 18-24)

The 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion named after Colonel Yevhen Konovalets invites you to serve under the "Contract 18-24: Drones" program for the position of UAV master.

We are a tactical reconnaissance battalion within Operational Command "South". Since 2015, we have carried out the most difficult tasks in eastern Ukraine, repelling russian aggression. Your work preparing and maintaining drones is key to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- - carrying out combat missions as part of the unit, including work in the combat zone
- - repair and maintenance of UAVs
- - analyzing problems and finding solutions to resolve them
- - developing and integrating solutions to improve unmanned systems
- - hardware and software modernization of UAVs
Requirements:
- - UAV piloting experience will be an advantage
- - Basic understanding of the technology and principles of unmanned systems
- - Ability to read electrical schematics will be an advantage
- - Confident computer skills
- - Understanding of basic circuit design principles
- - English proficiency sufficient to understand technical documentation will be an advantage
- - Fitness for military service based on health condition and moral-psychological qualities
- - Age 18 or older
- - Military service experience will be an advantage
- - Willingness to work in the combat zone
Conditions:
- Terms of service for candidates aged 18-24:
- contract service for a term of 2 years
- monetary allowance of 1,000,000 hryvnias per year (200,000 hryvnias immediately upon signing the contract and 800,000 hryvnias paid in two installments over the contract term) + up to an additional 120,000 hryvnias per month + bonuses for combat tasks
- priority processing through the Military Medical Commission
- completion of enhanced training (basic combined-arms training, specialized training, an adaptation course at the military unit, etc.) of up to three months in the event of assignment to a position in a new specialty and/or the unit's rearmament with new weapons and military equipment
- housing compensation during service
- Terms of service for candidates aged 25 and over:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- possibility of service for candidates with unauthorized-absence (SZCh) status
- monetary allowance from 21,000 to 200,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned tasks and place of service
- provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
