Machine Gunner (Contract 18-24)

Overview

The 131st Separate Reconnaissance Battalion named after Yevhen Konovalets is looking for motivated fighters for the position of Machine Gunner.

Your role: to be the main firepower and reliable support of the combat group. Your task is to cover your brothers-in-arms, suppress enemy firing positions, and secure the advantage in battle.

We are a tactical reconnaissance battalion of the "South" Operational Command. Since 2015 we have been repelling the russian federation's armed aggression in eastern Ukraine. We need resilient, responsible fighters.

Responsibilities:

• - carrying out combat missions as part of the unit (defense, offense, engineering preparation, stabilization measures)
• - providing fire support during combat operations
• - operation and maintenance of machine gun weaponry
• - continuously maintaining combat readiness of weapons, equipment, and ammunition
• carrying out commanders' orders
• - compliance with the requirements of regulations and discipline

Requirements:

• - Fitness for military service based on health condition and moral-psychological qualities
• - Accurate shooting skills will be an advantage
• - Good physical fitness will be an advantage
• - Willingness to work in the active combat zone
• - Age 18 or older
• - Combat experience will be an advantage
• - High level of motivation and stress resistance
• - Willingness to constantly learn and develop
• - Abstinence from alcohol and psychotropic substances

Conditions:

• Terms of service for candidates aged 18-24:
• contract service for a term of 1 year
• monetary allowance of 1,000,000 hryvnias per year under the "Contract 18-24" program (200,000 hryvnias immediately upon signing the contract and 800,000 hryvnias paid in two installments over the contract term) + up to an additional 120,000 hryvnias per month + bonuses for combat tasks
• priority processing through the Military Medical Commission
• completion of enhanced training (basic combined-arms training, specialized training, an adaptation course at the military unit, etc.) of up to three months in the event of assignment to a position in a new specialty and/or the unit's rearmament with new weapons and military equipment
• housing compensation during service
• Terms of service for candidates aged 25 and over:
• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates with unauthorized-absence (SZCh) status
• monetary allowance from 21,000 hryvnias + an additional reward from 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias per month depending on the assigned task and place of service + bonuses
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• service in the active combat zone
