Assault Trooper
Overview
The 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aidar" is a professional assault unit of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, formed in 2014 on the wave of the Revolution of Dignity. The battalion took part in the fiercest battles in eastern Ukraine in 2014-2022 and continues to carry out combat missions at the front today.
We combine the experience of a professional army with an unbreakable volunteer spirit. A clear goal, coordinated action, brotherhood, and motivation — this is what sets "Aidar" apart.

Responsibilities:
- destroying enemy personnel and equipment
- Participating in assault operations as part of small maneuver groups
- Carrying out surprise actions aimed at gaining a tactical advantage
- Fire support for assault operations
- Clearing positions suppressed by artillery fire and strike UAVs
- Ensuring active defense of occupied positions
- Continuous training and improvement of tactical, firing, and physical skills
Requirements:
- a sufficient level of physical fitness
- age from 18
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- ability to stay calm in critical situations
- desire to learn and develop in an elite military unit
- having combat experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- possibility of service for candidates with unauthorized-absence (SZCh) status
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task
- provision to NATO standards, specialized training at the unit's base
- a professional team of like-minded people and support from fellow soldiers
- annual main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
- social protection and guaranteed life insurance of 15 million hryvnias
- the opportunity to obtain Combat Veteran status
