External Pilot, UAV Operator

Overview

The 93rd Separate Anti-Tank Battalion is looking for responsible people who wish to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the position of EXTERNAL PILOT, OPERATOR of unmanned aerial vehicles

Responsibilities:

• Operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during reconnaissance, fire-correction, or strike missions.
• Pre-flight preparation: checking the aircraft's serviceability, installing software, and setting routes.
• Launching, flying, and landing UAVs in various conditions (day/night, in the field or combat zone).
• Maintaining a stable connection with the drone during flight, analyzing telemetry, and adjusting the route.
• Visual observation of the UAV (as an external pilot), maintaining visual control of the route in difficult conditions.
• Collaborating with analysts, artillery units, or other units for prompt transmission of reconnaissance information.
• Maintaining flight documentation, storing video and photo records.
• Compliance with safety and camouflage standards during work.

Requirements:

• Physical readiness: readiness to perform heavy physical tasks;
• Endurance: the ability to act under high pressure and stress;
• controlling and maneuvering an unmanned aerial vehicle according to assigned tasks;
• collecting, processing, and transmitting information received from the UAV;
• ensuring flight safety and compliance with all procedures and requirements, crew coordination;
• compliance with military discipline and the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Conditions:

• Monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH based on task performance;
• Provision of uniform and personal protective equipment, and full meals;
• Annual leave — 30 calendar days, and social benefits in accordance with current legislation;
• Free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained during combat.
