Artillery Platoon Commander

Overview

The 55th Separate Artillery Brigade "Zaporizka Sich" ("Zaporizhian Sich") is a military formation of the missile forces and artillery of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stationed in the city of Zaporizhzhia. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the brigade's units held back the advance of Russian troops in the Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia sectors, and were also among those who held the defense of Mariupol. The artillerymen of the "Zaporizka Sich" brigade took part in the liberation of the temporarily occupied territory of Zmiinyi Island and the right bank of the Kherson region.

Responsibilities:

• responsibility for the training level of subordinate personnel and the readiness of weapons and equipment to carry out combat missions
• monitoring the storage, operation, and maintenance of weapons, equipment, and ammunition
• knowledge of the platoon's tactics of action and command of all types of the platoon's weapons
• compliance with established safety rules and requirements while performing duties

Requirements:

• age from 18
• specialized education at bachelor's level or higher
• officer's rank: junior lieutenant or above
• no criminal record
• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• motivation to serve the Ukrainian people and defend the sovereignty of the state
• good physical fitness will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3 years
