Platoon Combat Medic

Overview

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's units are stationed in the picturesque Zakarpattia region.

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is one of the most experienced military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a history spanning more than a century. Since 2014 it has been engaged in combat in the most difficult sectors — holding the defense, liberating Ukrainian territory, and effectively destroying the enemy.

More than 20 of the brigade's service members have been awarded the highest state honor — the title of Hero of Ukraine. Of these, 16 have received it since the start of the full-scale russian invasion.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the provision of medical care to servicemen during combat operations;
• Escorting patients, conducting medical examinations and consultations;
• Performing medical procedures and administering the necessary medications;
• Keeping medical equipment and medication supplies ready for use;
• Performing medical monitoring and preventive measures to maintain servicemen's health;
• Performing medical protocols and procedures in accordance with military legislation requirements;
• Participating in training exercises and seminars to advance your skills.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and ability to provide first aid in combat conditions, knowledge of the protocols and rules for medical support of military units;
• ability to work effectively under stressful conditions;
• responsibility and a professional approach to work;
• education: vocational medical education or a medical college diploma (preferred).
• military service: military service experience or relevant knowledge of military organization and discipline is preferred;
• good physical fitness;
• desire to learn in specialized training.

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• decent monetary allowance from 24,000 to 124,000 hryvnias depending on the execution of combat orders and place of service;
