Overview

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's units are stationed in the picturesque Zakarpattia region.

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is one of the most experienced military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a history spanning more than a century. Since 2014 it has been engaged in combat in the most difficult sectors — holding the defense, liberating Ukrainian territory, and effectively destroying the enemy.

More than 20 of the brigade's service members have been awarded the highest state honor — the title of Hero of Ukraine. Of these, 16 have received it since the start of the full-scale russian invasion.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the effective operation of military equipment;
• Performing repair work on motor vehicles, ensuring their uninterrupted operation and readiness for use;
• Compliance with technical standards and safety rules while operating equipment;
• Carrying out combat tasks with the unit;
• Participating in training and drill sessions with the crew;
• Diagnosing and detecting vehicle malfunctions and fixing them;
• Performing regular vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the active combat area;
• knowledge and ability to repair military equipment;
• knowledge of automotive systems and their functions;
• ability to work with automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• decent monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias depending on the execution of combat orders and place of service;
