Overview

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's units are stationed in the picturesque Zakarpattia region.

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is one of the most experienced military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a history spanning more than a century. Since 2014 it has been engaged in combat in the most difficult sectors — holding the defense, liberating Ukrainian territory, and effectively destroying the enemy.

More than 20 of the brigade's service members have been awarded the highest state honor — the title of Hero of Ukraine. Of these, 16 have received it since the start of the full-scale russian invasion.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out combat tasks as part of the unit;
• Careful handling of assigned weapons;
• Conducting reconnaissance activities and providing operational information to command;
• Ensuring safety and discipline during service;
• Detecting and destroying the enemy (using drops and FPV drones);
• Performing other duty-related tasks assigned by the commander;

Requirements:

• age 18 to 45;
• fitness for service based on health condition and moral qualities;
• a high level of motivation and stress resistance;
• abstinence from alcohol and psychotropic substances;
• good physical fitness will be an advantage;
• combat experience will be an advantage;
• experience piloting UAVs and FPV drones (if training has not been completed).

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• decent monetary allowance from 26,000 to 126,000 hryvnias depending on the execution of combat orders and place of service;
