Overview

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's units are stationed in the picturesque Zakarpattia region.

The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade is one of the most experienced military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with a history spanning more than a century. Since 2014 it has been engaged in combat in the most difficult sectors — holding the defense, liberating Ukrainian territory, and effectively destroying the enemy.

More than 20 of the brigade's service members have been awarded the highest state honor — the title of Hero of Ukraine. Of these, 16 have received it since the start of the full-scale russian invasion.

Responsibilities:

• Observing, detecting, and assessing the CBRN situation;
• Eliminating the consequences of CBRN contamination;
• Maintaining unit safety under CBRN contamination conditions;
• Reducing the visibility of units and objects using aerosols
• Ability to work in stressful situations;
• Compliance with discipline and chain-of-command rules.

Requirements:

• a health condition that allows performing tasks in the active combat zone;
• readiness for physical and psychological strain;
• excellent knowledge of and proficiency with the squad's weapons and CBRN equipment
• knowledge of combat operations tactics and strategy;
• responsibility and the ability to make quick, well-founded decisions;
• ability to work under high stress and responsibility;
• ability to work in a team and follow established rules and procedures.

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• decent monetary allowance from 24,000 to 124,000 hryvnias depending on the execution of combat orders and place of service;
