Machine Gunner
Overview
A machine gunner is a serviceman responsible for using a machine gun to support combat operations, providing fire support for infantry and defending positions. A machine gunner performs tasks suppressing enemy firing points, engages enemy groups with fire, and coordinates actions with other unit members. This position suits physically fit individuals who are resilient to stress and ready to work in conditions of increased combat activity. Responsibilities:
- Preparing the machine gun for combat, loading and maintaining the weapon;
- Delivering aimed and suppressive fire on the enemy;
- Providing cover for the unit during offensive or defensive operations;
- Selecting and occupying a firing position based on the tactical situation;
- Maintaining the machine gun and performing basic repairs as needed;
- Compliance with safety procedures when working with weapons and ammunition.
Requirements:
- Secondary education (military training or relevant courses will be an advantage);
- Experience with small arms, especially machine guns, is preferred;
- Physical endurance and readiness for high physical exertion;
- Ability to work in a team, discipline, responsibility;
- Stress resistance and the ability to react quickly in combat conditions.
