Driver-Mechanic

Overview

A driver-mechanic is responsible for operating and maintaining military vehicles. Their tasks include ensuring the uninterrupted operation of equipment, performing routine repairs, and taking part in transporting personnel and cargo. A driver-mechanic also keeps equipment combat-ready, which is especially important under increased workloads. Responsibilities:

• Operating military vehicles across various types of terrain;
• Performing regular vehicle maintenance;

• Ensuring the safe transport of personnel and materiel;
• Compliance with safety rules for operating and maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

• Vocational education (preferably technical);
• Category C driver's license (category E will be an advantage);
• Experience operating large or specialized vehicles;
• Knowledge of the basics of vehicle maintenance and repair;
• Physical endurance, readiness to work in difficult conditions;
• Responsibility, attentiveness, and the ability to make quick decisions.
