Sniper
Overview
A sniper is a highly qualified serviceman who specializes in precisely engaging targets at long range, conducting observation, and carrying out special tasks in support of combat units. A sniper works as part of reconnaissance and special units, often acting alone or with a spotter. This role requires excellent physical and psychological preparation, as well as the ability to act under conditions of high responsibility and limited resources.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering precise strikes on designated targets at long range.
- Conducting observation, reconnaissance, and target detection in various terrain conditions.
- Preparing the sniper weapon and optical devices, configuring them before task performance.
- Developing and implementing a plan for covert movement and taking up positions.
- Working in a pair with a partner to provide cover and increase operational effectiveness.
- Assessing wind, distance, lighting, and other factors affecting shooting accuracy.
- Compliance with safety procedures and weapons handling rules.
Requirements:
- Vocational or higher education, military training in sniper courses.
- Experience with small arms and aiming devices.
- A high level of physical fitness, resistance to stressful situations, endurance.
- Developed analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of tactical camouflage techniques, covert movement, and conducting reconnaissance.
- Ability to quickly orient yourself in terrain and make decisions in extreme situations.
