Rifleman

Overview

Rifleman is the main combat specialty in the Ground Forces of Ukraine. Servicemen in this field carry out combat tasks as part of the unit, providing territorial defense and firing. The position requires proficiency with small arms, compliance with military discipline, and following commanders' orders.

Responsibilities:

• - Carrying out combat missions as part of a military unit;
• Using small arms to fire on the enemy;
• Maintaining weapons and equipment in combat readiness;
• Compliance with military discipline and following commanders' orders;
• Interaction with fellow servicemen for the effective execution of tasks.

Requirements:

• - Age 18 or older;
• Fitness for military service based on health condition;
• Knowledge of weapons handling safety rules;
• Ability to work in a team and quickly adapt to combat conditions;
• Responsibility, discipline, and readiness to perform tasks;
• No alcohol or drug dependency.

Conditions:

• - Mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• Basic and specialized training as needed;
• Monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on combat tasks and place of service;
• Provision of uniform, personal protective equipment, and full meals;
• Social benefits and annual main leave (30 days);
• Free sanatorium and resort treatment;
• One-time payment of 24,000 hryvnias upon signing the first contract;
• For Kyiv residents: a one-time payment of 30,000 hryvnias upon mobilization or contract + 45,000 hryvnias in case of injury (from the Kyiv City State Administration).
