EW Operator

Overview

The 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the 32nd Separate Mechanized "Steel" Brigade is one of the elite units subordinate to the "North" Regional Directorate of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For its exemplary performance of assigned missions in defending the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of Ukraine, the brigade was awarded the honorary title "Steel" by decree of the President of Ukraine. Over various periods of its existence, the unit has proven itself excellently in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk sectors thanks to its discipline and special attention to coordination and training of personnel under conditions as close to combat as possible. We are bringing victory closer!

Responsibilities:

  • Working with electronic warfare equipment;
  • Analyzing and detecting electronic signals from enemy systems;
  • Configuring, maintaining, and operating EW equipment for suppressing or jamming signals;
  • Interacting with other units to ensure effective electronic warfare;
  • Keeping EW equipment in working order and configuring it according to the combat mission's conditions;
  • Prompt detection of and countermeasures against other enemy assets;
  • Assessing the effectiveness of EW use and adjusting actions based on the results obtained.

Requirements:

  • age 18 or older;
  • practical experience in administration or programming will be an advantage;
  • radio engineering education, experience configuring electronic equipment, or practical experience in a related field will be an advantage;
  • understanding of the operating principles of electronic systems and EW equipment;
  • desire to learn and develop.

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen;
  • possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.;
  • monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, up to 220,000 hryvnias;
  • provision of all necessary equipment and gear;
  • social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, additional 15-day leave for Combat Veterans, medical care, etc.;
  • a package of social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members.
