Combat Medic

Overview

The 24th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the russian aggression in 2014, units of the brigade have been engaged on many fronts. This vacancy is for service in the brigade's combat units.

Responsibilities:

• providing urgent pre-medical aid in the active combat zone
• evacuation of the wounded and escort to the stabilization point
• conducting tactical medicine classes
• monitoring the completeness of personnel's first aid kits
• improving professional skills through training at relevant centers, including abroad

Requirements:

• age up to 45
• no need for medical education
• satisfactory physical fitness and physical/psychological condition
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
• willingness to learn and work according to international standards for providing emergency medical care
• readiness to pursue professional development
• military service experience as a combat medic will be an advantage
• completion of CLS level courses (CMC, CPP, Medevac) will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the combat area on the eastern axis
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• accommodation is provided
• three meals a day on-site at state expense
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
• social protection and guaranteed life insurance
• guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade
