Radar Operator
Overview
The 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade (formerly the 5th Separate Tank Brigade) is stationed in the Lviv region and is part of the "Zahid" ("West") Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade took part in fighting in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions and is currently carrying out missions in the Pokrovsk sector.
Responsibilities:
- operating, using, and maintaining radar station equipment
- searching for and detecting targets in airspace using a radar station
- coordinating with other units to transmit data and align actions
- finding positions for better radar operation
Requirements:
- radio engineering education, experience adjusting radio-electronic equipment, or practical experience in a related field, will be an advantage
- developed communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking
- readiness to undergo the necessary specialized training
- willingness to constantly learn and improve skills
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
- guaranteed annual leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
