Anesthesiologist (Resident)
Overview
The 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians is a military formation of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is stationed in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Since 2014, the brigade has taken part in the war in eastern Ukraine as part of the ATO/JFO forces, including heavy fighting on the russian-Ukrainian border, in the Azov Sea coastal area, and near Avdiivka in the industrial zone. At the start of the full-scale invasion, the brigade defended Kyiv. The soldiers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade took part in the battles for Irpin, Moshchun, Hostomel, and Bucha. Since the summer, the brigade has been defending Ukraine in the Donbas. The brigade bears its honorary name in honor of the Black Zaporozhians, a military formation from the times of the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR).
Responsibilities:
- anesthesiology support for stabilizing and transporting the wounded
- performing all actions related to anesthesia when providing care at the stabilization point, to ensure safe anesthesia
- escorting "severe" patients to medical facilities
- adherence to the principles of evidence-based medicine
- working at the battalion's/brigade's stabilization point in the combat zone
- compliance with the requirements of the regulations and discipline
Requirements:
- higher medical education, as well as completed internship in one of the specialties: second-level higher education with a master's degree in the field of "Health Care," specialty "Medicine," and specialization in "Anesthesiology" (internship, specialization courses)
- an officer's rank will be an advantage
- experience in one's specialty
- experience working with emergency patients
- ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, including in force-majeure circumstances
- a high level of motivation, ability and desire to learn
- age up to 50
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- transfer of current servicemen is NOT available
- service in the combat zone
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, from 55,000 to 120,000 hryvnias
