Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• driving various types of motor vehicles
• transporting cargo and personnel
• compliance with operation and repair requirements for motor vehicles
• responsibility for the technical serviceability and maintaining combat readiness of assigned vehicles

Requirements:

• age from 18
• possession of a category B, C driver's license (C1, CE, C1E will be an advantage)
• driving experience
• stress resilience
• high level of responsibility
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
• guaranteed training in your field of work
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
