Overview

The vacancy involves service in the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has been carrying out combat missions in eastern Ukraine, as well as developing and combat-testing FPV drones. The battalion's leading specialists teach a course of lectures at Victory Drones and work on implementing innovative technologies for the use of strike UAVs in the brigade's units.

Responsibilities:

• ensuring the uninterrupted operation of communication systems
• maintaining military communications equipment
• monitoring the quality of signal transmission between communication points
• determining the causes of and eliminating faults in military communication devices and lines
• working with communications equipment and auxiliary equipment (generators, batteries, amplifiers, etc.)
• ensuring the group's communications during combat missions and training
• skillful command of all communication equipment in the group
• conducting training sessions for the group's personnel
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit

Requirements:

• knowledge of the technologies and standards of the radio communication system
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• specialized education or special training
• skills in performing special installation and repair work
• ability to correctly use the equipment needed to monitor various communication devices
• a high level of self-awareness, motivation, and organization
• having combat experience and military service experience will be an advantage
• completion of the necessary communications courses will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• transfer of current servicemen only from units subordinate to Operational Command "East"
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, based on task performance and combat orders
• guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in our unit within the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade
• service in the active combat zone in eastern Ukraine
• a private/sergeant rank position
• military provisions and social guarantees in accordance with legislation
• training before taking up the position and, if necessary, specialized training
