Driver (categories B, C)
Overview
The vacancy involves service in the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has been carrying out combat missions in eastern Ukraine, as well as developing and combat-testing FPV drones. The battalion's leading specialists teach a course of lectures at Victory Drones and work on implementing innovative technologies for the use of strike UAVs in the brigade's units.
Responsibilities:
- meeting the unit's transportation needs, transporting servicemen, cargo, equipment, and other gear
- compliance with traffic rules and safety while driving
- maintaining the technical readiness of vehicles: ensuring regular maintenance, monitoring vehicle condition, refueling, etc.
- performing other tasks related to driver duties
- compliance with safety rules
Requirements:
- driver's license category B, C
- desire and ability to learn
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities, excellent physical condition
- stress resilience
- motivation to work for victory
- readiness to comply with strict discipline requirements in everyday life and in combat operations, follow commanders' orders, and show reasonable initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- transfer of current servicemen only from units subordinate to Operational Command "East"
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, based on task performance and combat orders
- guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in our unit within the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade
- service in the active combat zone in eastern Ukraine
- an enlisted (private) rank position
- military provisions and social guarantees in accordance with legislation
- training before taking up the position and, if necessary, specialized training
