UAV Master Technician

Overview

The vacancy involves service in the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has been carrying out combat missions in eastern Ukraine, as well as developing and combat-testing FPV drones. The battalion's leading specialists teach a course of lectures at Victory Drones and work on implementing innovative technologies for the use of strike UAVs in the brigade's units.

Responsibilities:

• hardware and software modernization of UAVs
• repair and maintenance of UAVs
• analyzing problems and finding solutions to them
• developing and integrating solutions to improve unmanned systems

Requirements:

• age 18 to 45
• fitness for military service
• education in radio engineering/production automation/system administration/programming/telecommunications systems
• experience maintaining and repairing electronics
• understanding of the basic principles of circuit design
• ability to read electrical schematics will be an advantage
• experience working with aircraft will be an advantage
• high level of responsibility and attention to detail
• desire to dedicate oneself to service in the army and the fight for the country's security
• preference given to radio technicians, radio amateurs, aeromodeling athletes, and people with relevant military, engineering, or related education

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• transfer of current servicemen only from units subordinate to Operational Command "East"
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, based on task performance and combat orders
• guidance during the Regional TCC and Military Medical Commission stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in our unit within the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade
• service in the active combat zone in eastern Ukraine
• a private/sergeant rank position
• military provisions and social guarantees in accordance with legislation
• training before taking up the position and, if necessary, specialized training
