Reconnaissance and Fire Adjustment Platoon Commander (UAV)

Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• quality work with personnel
• carrying out tasks in accordance with commanders' instructions and orders
• managing and training subordinates, including assigning tasks, as well as motivating and educating servicemen
• maintaining combat readiness through regular training and skills development
• reporting to senior commanders on the state of affairs in one's own unit
• compliance with military discipline and cohesion in the platoon

Requirements:

• age from 18
• experience piloting UAVs
• experience managing people will be an advantage
• willingness to learn
• fitness for military service
• high level of responsibility and leadership qualities
• officer's rank

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 23,000 to 195,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• annual paid leave
