Combat Medic (English-speaking)

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This vacancy is for service in a newly established unit of the battalion where foreign nationals serve. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• evacuation of the wounded to the battalion aid station
• providing medical care
• carrying out the commander's orders
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• training personnel in tactical medicine skills

Requirements:

• knowledge of English at B1 level (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage)
• a high level of motivation and desire to learn
• age from 18
• good physical fitness
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations as part of a unit made up of foreign specialists
• having combat experience will be an advantage
• completion of medical courses, or a successfully completed tactical medicine course, will be an advantage
• completion of a basic military training course will be an advantage
• knowledge of other foreign languages will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the active combat zone
• training before taking up the position with foreign instructors and instructors with combat experience
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment
• provision of full meals
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills and foreign language knowledge
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the zone of task performance and combat orders + additional monetary allowance for 30 days spent on the line of combat contact.
