Sapper

Overview

The 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The vacancy involves service in a separate rifle battalion that is defending the southern sector.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions with the unit
• engineering arrangement
• mining/demining
• working with explosive objects
• carrying out stabilization measures, etc.

Requirements:

• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• abstinence from alcohol and psychotropic substances
• discipline, precise execution of assigned tasks, attentiveness, composure, physical and psychological endurance
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• education in the field, possession of MOS 166 or 168
• permit for mine-clearing and blasting operations (preferred)
• knowledge of the mine and explosive ordnance field
• military service experience as a sapper or civilian demining experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 100,000 UAH depending on the assigned task and place of service
• basic and specialized training as needed
