Overview

The 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade is a military formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2022. Since the start of the russian invasion of Ukraine, the brigade has taken part in fighting near Lysychansk, Siversk, Vuhledar, Horlivka, Maiorske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka. The unit is mostly equipped with Western weapons and equipment. Its permanent duty station is the city of Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

• directing the reconnaissance unit's actions in various types of combat
• training of personnel
• carrying out reconnaissance missions
• collecting and transmitting intelligence information
• using specialized and modern equipment to conduct reconnaissance
• improving combat and physical training skills, maintaining them at a high

Requirements:

• age 18 to 40
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• secondary, vocational secondary/higher education (preference given to candidates with the MOS of scout, rifleman, or related MOS)
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• a high level of physical fitness and endurance

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 22,000 to 192,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• the opportunity to independently choose a unit after an interview with the commanders of the brigade's reconnaissance units
