Driver-Mechanic, Tank Platoon
Overview
The 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Units of the brigade are engaged in the southern sectors. The unit will teach you to operate a 42-ton vehicle for destroying the enemy and using it to smash enemy fortifications and positions.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining the tank, performing scheduled preventive inspections of the vehicle and repairing it as needed
- safely delivering the crew to the position during a combat mission and transporting them out after completion
- remembering and orienting according to the route, watching to avoid mines or ambushes
Requirements:
- age 18 to 50
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- secondary, vocational secondary/higher education
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
- driving experience, understanding of tractor or construction equipment
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- training both in Ukraine and abroad
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- the prospect of career growth and the development of leadership skills
- guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days
- monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- one-time payment of 25,000 hryvnias upon signing the first contract
- payment of monetary compensation for renting housing
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
- social protection and guaranteed life insurance of 15 million
