Master Technician, UAS Platoon

Overview

The 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Units of the brigade are engaged in the southern sectors.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• working with a wide range of ammunition and equipment, adapting ammunition for use on kamikaze drones and drop systems
• installing and arming the payload on UAVs
• providing technical support for sorties
• hardware and software modernization, repair, and maintenance of UAVs
• developing and integrating solutions to improve unmanned systems

Requirements:

• age 18 to 45
• readiness to work in the combat zone
• fitness for military service by state of health
• experience maintaining and repairing electronics
• understanding of the basic principles of electronic circuits and components
• knowledge of the main types of ammunition and their operating principles
• understanding of the principle of ammunition detonation

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 51,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• full provision of uniform and all due gear according to the standards of current legislation

• guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days
