Sapper
Overview
The 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Units of the brigade are engaged in the southern sectors.
Responsibilities:
- searching for and neutralizing mines, bombs, shells, tripwires, and other explosive devices
- installing mines, tripwires, and other explosive devices
- organizing passages through the enemy's mined zones
- studying various types of explosives
- carrying out the commands and instructions of the military command
- ensuring the security and protection of Ukraine's territory and its population
- compliance with discipline and chain of command rules
Requirements:
- age 25 to 60 (mobilization), 18 to 45 (contract service)
- readiness to undergo military service under combat conditions
- no contraindications for military service
- having military specialty code (VOS) 166 (combat engineer) or willingness to obtain it
- skills in handling explosive devices or willingness to learn them
- understanding of the need for military chain of command
- physical endurance and readiness for physical exertion
- desire to learn and improve
- stress resilience, composure, vigilance
- desire to serve Ukraine and participate in defending our state
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
- documentary support for candidates and oversight of enlistment for the chosen specialty in the chosen brigade
- organized training
- the opportunity for professional growth and specialized training
- upon signing the first contract, a one-time compensation of 50% of the first installment under the "Ye-Oselya" program is provided, plus 100,000 hryvnias after each of the first 2 years of service + the opportunity to receive a 150,000-hryvnia car purchase certificate
- rewards for destroyed (captured) enemy equipment
- 30 calendar days of annual leave
- the opportunity to take part in peacekeeping missions and training abroad
