Operator, Radio Reconnaissance Platoon

Overview

The 61st Separate Mechanized Stepova (Steppe) Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2015.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• setting up, deploying, launching, and standing duty on ELINT systems
• monitoring the radio-frequency spectrum, detecting and analyzing signals
• analyzing, processing, and systematizing received data
• compliance with military discipline, carrying out combat orders

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• secondary, vocational secondary/higher education
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• understanding of the principles of building ELINT/EW systems will be an advantage
• radio engineering education and work experience in the specialty will be an advantage
• fluent computer proficiency
• ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Conditions:

• contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
