Platoon/Section Commander
Overview
The 61st Separate Mechanized Stepova (Steppe) Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2015.
Responsibilities:
- developing operation plans and distributing tasks among platoon/squad members
- directing military actions during combat operations, namely offense, defense, or special operations
- establishing and maintaining effective communication and interaction with other military units and command staff
- making decisions in complex combat conditions and taking measures to achieve set goals
- conducting training and instruction to improve the combat readiness and skills of platoon/squad members
- maintaining discipline and a high level of morale within the unit
- responsibility for the successful completion of combat missions and the safety of one's unit members
Requirements:
- age from 18
- basic general secondary education
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- fitness for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (absence of medical contraindications to military service)
- no criminal record
- leadership qualities, tactical proficiency, and ability to make quick, well-founded decisions
Conditions:
- contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
