Overview
The 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Units of the brigade are engaged in the southern sectors.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
- transferring personnel and cargo
- operating and performing technical maintenance of cars, armored vehicles, and other military equipment
- diagnostics, repair, and refueling of equipment
- conducting maintenance and scheduled repairs
- compliance with safety standards during maintenance and repair work
- carrying out the commands and instructions of the military command
- compliance with discipline and chain of command rules
Requirements:
- age 18 to 45 (contract service), age 25 to 60 (for mobilization service)
- readiness to undergo military service under combat conditions
- no contraindications for military service
- understanding of the need for military chain of command
- physical endurance and readiness for physical exertion
- desire to serve Ukraine and participate in defending our state
- desire to learn and improve
- open categories B, C
- experience driving and operating equipment (the more extensive and varied, the better)
- knowledge of traffic rules and the principles and rules of vehicle operation
- knowledge of automotive equipment design and understanding of how it operates
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- the opportunity for professional growth and specialized training
- monetary allowance in accordance with the requirements of current legislation
- upon signing the first contract, a one-time compensation of 50% of the first installment under the "Ye-Oselya" program is provided, plus 100,000 hryvnias after each of the first 2 years of service + the opportunity to receive a 150,000-hryvnia car purchase certificate
- rewards for destroyed (captured) enemy equipment
- 30 calendar days of annual leave
- the opportunity to take part in training abroad
