Radar Station Operator

Overview

The 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Units of the brigade are engaged in the southern sectors.

Responsibilities:

• timely detection and determination of target characteristics and reporting them to the command post
• using the radar station's operating modes to their full extent
• ensuring the constant combat readiness of equipment
• taking necessary measures to increase the detection range of radar targets at various flight altitudes, as well as under intensive radio jamming conditions
• maintaining constant awareness of the specifics of performing a combat mission at a particular position

Requirements:

• complete general secondary/secondary technical education
• full knowledge of the operating modes of a radar station
• a state of health that allows performing military service duties
• military service experience will be an advantage
• readiness to undergo the necessary specialized training in the relevant field
• readiness to perform assigned tasks in the combat operations zone

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
