Master Technician/Operator, UAS

Overview

The 415th Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit fought its first battle in 2023 in Donetsk region, where, as part of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, it took part in the counteroffensive for the settlement of Andriivka in Donetsk region. Since late 2023 and to this day, the 415th Separate Rifle Battalion has taken part in defending the settlements of Strilecha, Hlyboke, and Lyptsi in Kharkiv region. The unit continues to destroy the enemy and defend our beloved Ukraine with courage and valor!

Responsibilities:

• performing operations for launching, controlling, and maintaining unmanned aircraft systems
• analyzing and processing data obtained using UAS
• carrying out combat missions using drones in the combat zone
• providing urgent aid in emergency situations (evacuating the wounded, stopping bleeding and applying dressings, immobilizing the injured)
• keeping weapons and equipment in serviceable condition
• compliance with safety protocols and coordination with other units while carrying out combat missions

Requirements:

• age from 21
• fitness for military service by state of health
• no criminal record
• good physical fitness
• moral resilience
• strong motivation and stress resilience
• proficiency in the basics of working with UAVs will be an advantage
• readiness for training in drone operation standards and tactical medicine
• knowledge of TCCC protocols will be an advantage
• skills in precise control of equipment and devices
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
• readiness to perform tasks in difficult conditions
• no alcohol/drug dependency
• prior experience working with drones will be an advantage
• knowledge of tactical medicine will be an advantage
• driver's license category B will be an advantage
• having combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 70,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks performed
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) with the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• free medical care, insurance, and other social guarantees
• full provision of personal protective equipment, uniform, meals, and weapons
• training before taking up the position: preparation to work with UAS, learning equipment usage standards and tactics
• a package of social guarantees for servicemen and their families
